We understand, you want to be safe while you're here, so we are taking the highest level of precautions. Here's what you can expect:
GLEATHERLAND COVID POLICY 2021/22
HUECO TANKS STATE PARK
The park plans to remain open despite any city mandated stay home orders. During such orders, OUTDOOR RECREATION is considered essential. The park may close periodically if they have a case of COVID within their staff. UPDATE 1/1/2021: Due to the parks already imposed restrictions, Hueco Tanks has been a great place to be this season in the light of the pandemic. Climbers have been very responsible this season, many are only climbing with a few people in their pod and everyone has stayed safe so far. Additionally, the park has implemented new COVID safety measures to limit contact with guests:
NORTH MOUNTAIN : The Park allows visitors in one at a time to check in for North Mountain. One person is designated to check your entire party into north. Mask required in the office.
BACK COUNTRY TOURS: limited to 10 people total including guide. Guide will handle check-in process as per usual so no clients will enter the headquarters. (see commercial websites for tour info www.wagonwheelcoopt.com or www.sessionsclimbing.com
***COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is spread mainly from person-to-person contact, Gleatherland has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. However, Gleatherland cannot guarantee that its guests will not become infected with COVID-19. Gleatherland will not be held liable for any guest of the property who may contract COVID while here.
- YURT2 and NOMAD now have own shower to reduce communal sharing.
- We added SOLAR SHOWER to camper/caravans where possible to reduce communal sharing.
- Extra cleaning measures including sanitizing all high touch surfaces.
- Contactless self check in/out and self pay stations.
- Communal areas cleaned daily. All high touch surfaces sanitized regularly.
- Cleaning supplies & hand sanitizers/soaps provided in communal areas and rental units
GLEATHERLAND COVID POLICY 2021/22
- Unvaccinated Guests are asked to wear masks where social distancing with staff or other guests is not possible.
- Guests are asked to cancel their reservation in the event they become ill to keep our community healthy
- Guests are asked to notify us if they become ill while on the property.
- Guests are asked to seek alternative accommodations in the event they become ill and they are unable to quarantine.
