"The straw bale house was wonderful for our stay in Hueco. We have been coming to Hueco to climb for many years and this was the first year we stayed in a home. We loved how comfortable and spacious it was. The kitchen was well stocked, the house was impeccably clean, and the beds were super comfortable. The hot tub was also a nice bonus to soak the muscles after a long day of climbing. There is no lack of attention to detail in this house. It is very unique and incredibly well built. "Extreme quiet in this unique desert location. Hueco Tanks State Park is right next door for climbers and tourists alike. Communication with Heather was prompt, couldn't find a speck of dirt anywhere, pillows were plentiful and comfortable. Wi-Fi was consistent, adequate kitchen and beautifully decorated straw bale house with plenty of HOT WATER for two. " My friends and I stayed in Heather and Glenn's beautiful desert home for a week. The photos don't do that place justice. The mediation garden is a great spot to hang out and relax on a rest day and the hot tub is right next to it! The kitchen was one of the best stocked that I've seen in an Airbnb. All the cookware and utensils you would need to make a home cooked meal. They were very accommodating and responded to all our questions/request quickly! " Heather is amazing people. Highly recommended this spot (yurt 2), which next to the send climbing shop, so you can pick up a knee pad or other climbing gear if you forget a crash pad. The yurt was clean, comes with a bathroom and shower, and fully working kitchen...what more could you ask for? Two queen size bunk beds, one rollout bed and sofa bed. We all slept comfortably. There is nothing quite like spending the days in the back country (trying to) smash projects...and when night falls and temperatures drop, we seek refuge in the warm and cozy Avenger. It is fully equipped with everything we need, Gleatherland has the best shower, and we always have a stress free trip! It's so close to the mountain, so peaceful and quiet- we always get a great night's sleep.
